Congratulations on the Victory in the Competition of Post-Graduate Students!

A post-graduate student Egor Eremeev (his specialty is 08.00.05 – “Economy and National Economy Management”) has won in the competition conducted among post-graduate students of Syktyvkar State University with the aim of receiving grant to implement research devoted to the EU. The competition was arranged within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented under the financial support of the European Union.

The primary topic of his research is the establishing the system of constructive scientific and practical interaction between professional education institutions and industrial enterprises in Barents macro region and corresponding organizations of the European Union within the framework of cluster unions. The acquired results may be used for improving the activity of extractive and downstream industries, formation of lifelong learning system, development of recommendations for improving international cooperation; they will allow to improve the quality of humanitarian collaboration and exchange of scientific achievements and unify educational competencies in order to implement Bologna process in the Russian professional education.

In accordance with the stated objective and with the regard to theoretical premises the following tasks were defined:

- to define the conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation exchange of scientific and practical activity results as the basic of sustainable development of clusters in Barents macro region;

- to analyze the integration processes  in economy, education and social infrastructure of Barents macro region, to define the inducing and restraining effects;

-  to develop a model of cluster cooperation for modernization of industrial sectors of macro region.

SyktSU evaluated the significance of research and its practical side for Barents region. The grant sum is 500 euro. Due to the research results the proposed measures have positive impact on the indexes of educational and scientific results of participants of analyzed processes which are expressed in the formation of competences and increase of professional qualification of clusters’ participants.

Egor Eremeev made the report during Science Festival in the Republic of Komi within the framework of the All-Russian Science Festival and during the international conference “Political, Economic and Sociocultural Aspects of Regional Management in the European North”. He published scientific article in the edition approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia and the second article are being prepared for publication in the collection of scientific articles issued after international conference.
