International Cooperation and Academic Mobility

Liudmila Kulikovskaya, Head of the Department for International Cooperation of PetrSU took part in a seminar for heads of international services of higher educational institutions
‘International cooperation and academic mobility: benefits and actual problems’ held in Kazan Federal University.

Head of the National Tempus Office in Russia Olga Oleinikova and the EU Representative in Russia Nicola Scaramuzzo addressed welcoming speeches and presented their reports.

Representatives of the CIMO and British Council also participated in the seminar

In working groups and roundtables participants discussed problems and challenges that universities are nowadays brought face to face with on the example of double diplomas, Tempus and Erasmus Mundus Programmes.  Liudmila Kulikovskaya shared the experience of PetrSU regarding exchange programmes with Finnish universities and TRIPLE I Erasmus Mundus Programme.

In the course of discussions university representatives paid special attention to the problems of legislative and fiscal character that arise in the process of implementation of joint educational programmes. At the end of the meeting the participants worked out proposals and recommendations on mitigation and resolution of series of important issues discussed.
