Scientific articles collection “The European Union and Northern Europe: Past, Present, and Future” was prepared and published within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented with the financial support of the EU. The collection consists of 10 articles by 17 authors:

  8. Kareliaas a Project of Regional Building within the framework of Finnish-Russian Cross-border Cooperation

  10. Intensive Forestry: New Decisions and Finnish Experience

   It’s noteworthy that collection includes not only such humanitarian research as international relations, cross-border cooperation, identity, economics, intercultural communication, philology, sociology, but the topic of forestry and animal breeding. The authors are representatives ofPetrozavodskStateUniversityand International Institute of Business Education. Being the product of research, conducted by the authors, this collection will become a significant scientific material for those who are involved in the EU research and those who want to acquire information on various issues devoted to this international organization. It will be available on Moscow Electronic Library, Electronic Library of theRepublicofKarelia, the Barents EU Centre website and in groups in social networks. It will provide wide access to the readers.
