Cultural integration policy: Russia and the CIS in the context of the European Union experience

The fourth meeting of the EU Research club took place in the European Union Centre in the Barents Region of Russia on May 22, 2018.



The enlargement of the European Union, the economic and political trends and the convergence process

On the 21st of November 2017 the third meeting of the EU Research Club took place at PetrSU. The Club was founded within the framework of the international project ‘Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents area of Russia’ and then supported again by another project "Open module on the EU" project co-finnaced by the Erasmus programme of the EU.



European vs public identity: is confirmation existing?

On May 16, 2017 the space bridge “European vs public identity: is confirmation existing?” was arranged in the Barents EU Centre within the framework of EU Research Club. The Club has existed since 2012 and it was created within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented under financial support of the European Union.



Evolution of the European political identity as a social structure of the EU

On February, 21 2017 in the Barents EU Centre the EU research club meeting was organized. This time the meeting format was discussion of the topic “Evolution of the European political identity as a social structure of the EU”.



Treaty of Rome: Europe after 60 years

Scientific conference for young researchers of the problems of modern Europe “Treaty of Rome: Europe after 60 years” took place at PetrSU on May 29, 2017. The conference was held within the framework of the “EU Center in the Barents Region of Russia” project, implemented with the financial support of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.



System of Values of the European Union: What Does It Mean and Where Is It Applicable?

This time the meeting was held in the format of a topic discussion “System of Values of the European Union: What Does It Mean and Where Is It Applicable?”. Students of the Institute of History, Political and Social Science, Institute of Economics and Law, Institute of Medicine, Institute of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism and a public member took part in the meeting.



Gender policy in the EU

On February 24, 2016 EU Center in the Barents region of Russia held a meeting within the framework of the EU research club. The club exists since 2012 and operates within the project “EU Center in the Barents region of Russia”, which is funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union



Webinar “Remembering and forgetting: current EU policy on electronic data storage devices”

On January 21, 2016 the European Union Center in the Barents Region of Russia held a webinar with the Center of European Studies in Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada). Institute of International Programs staff took part in that webinar.



Webinar: "Shale gas development policy in Europe"

On December 8, 2015, the European Union Center in the Barents Region of Russia within the EU research club framework held a webinar with the Center of European Studies in Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada). Institute of International programs staff members took part in that meeting.
