Municipal contest among school children
Petrozavodsk State University announces the beginning of the municipal contest among school children “Become a Young EU Researcher”.
The competition is held within the framework of the “Establishing EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia” carried out with the financial support of the European Union.
Conditions for participation:
All interested students must send their report abstracts in English on any topic concerning EU to the following e-mail address: interproject@psu.karelia.ru.
Requirements for abstracts:
- Language: English;
- Size: 1 page A4
- Font: Times New Roman 12
- Range: 1.5
- Full name, full title of the school, grade, title of the report
Requirements for report:
- Language: English
- Duration: no longer than 7 minutes;
- Power point presentation (voluntary).
Application deadline is March 12, 2012. Applications sent after the deadline will not be accepted.
Total three winners will be selected from all the submitted applications. The authors will be awarded with honorary diplomas and will have an opportunity to present their reports within the framework of the “European research” section at the Scientific Student and Young Scientists Conference at PetrSU. The conference will take part on the 26th of March, 2012. In addition, the abstracts will be published in the ‘Materials of Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists’ compilation.
