The First European summer school ‘Geobranding: strategies, trends, drivers’

From the 1st to the 6th of July, 2012 Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad) and Institute Europeen des Relations publiques (IEERP, Paris) conduct the First European summer school ‘Geobranding: strategies, trends, drivers’. The Programme is addressed to specialists in the field of public relations and international communication, administrative and city hall employees, postgraduate and university students, experts in the field of geobranding. 
The moderators of the Programme are members of the IEERP Council, authors of monographs on PR and international communication, published in Russia, France, Romania and Czech Republic:
- Jean Pierre Boduan, General President of I et E, professor at the Sorbonne.
- Jean Marc Pagnol, General Director of Allianz France.
- Tatiana Lebedeva, Doctor of Science, professor,director of IEERP international programmes. 
- Evegeniy Zaitsev, PhD, associate professor at the Faculty of Journalism in MSU, member of the Encyclopedia’ Expert Council ‘.
School activities will include: master classes, innovation project laboratories, practical work, travelling ateliers, barinstorming. 
Author of the best project, elaborated during the work of the innovation laboratory of the summer school, will be granted an opportunity to conduct an internship within the framework of the IEERP programmes in 2012-2013 in Paris. Those participants of the programme, whose papers are noted, will receive IEERP collection of monographs and a two-volume edition of the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism at MSU, prof. E.L. Vartanova as a gift.
Participants of the programme will be granted a diploma of European PR Institute (Paris) on ‘Geobranding’ signed by the International President Jacques Siegel.

The amount of participants is limited.
Application deadline is June 15, 2012.

Foreign participants will be accommodated in Immanuel Kant BFU hostel or city hotels on prior notice (paid by the sending party).
Participation fee for non-resident parties is 20 000 (app. 500 euro).

Summer school in Kaliningrad focuses on research of the main trends in geobranding, development of particular models according to the interests and needs of the participants. The school is practically oriented and uses PR-technologies in its work. The particular attention is paid to the construction and optimization of business-models in geobranding, formation of the added value of the geobrand, computation of the image and reputation driver territories.
