The IAMONET RU project is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 partnership with 12 Russian and 8 EU Universities.

The project offers different scholarships on Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Postdoctorate and Staff level.

Erasmus Mundus Partnerships aim at promoting institutional cooperation and mobility activities betweenEuropeand third-country Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Action 2 provides support for the establishment of cooperation partnerships and scholarships of various length for European and third-country individuals.

The European Commission has entrusted the implementation of the Erasmus Mundus programme to the Education, Culture and AudiovisualExecutive Agency (EACEA).

Objectives of the IAMONET-RU project

The project aims at developing and fostering the international academic mobility between the EU andRussiathrough a network between 12 Russian and 8 EU

Universities in the field of Agriculture, Life Sciences, Food Chain and beyond in order to:

• Fostering the cooperation of the HEIs with the business sector

• Preparing the students for the working environment

• Enhancement of practical oriented study programmes

• Developing Joint or Double Degree Master programmes

• Strengthening the cooperation between the Russian HEIs

• Building a research network for PhD candidates related to aspects of “Rural Development inRussia” and topics in the field of “Bioeconomy”.

• Enhancement of the qualification of teaching staff and younger researchers

• Dissemination of the experiences and know-how among other EU and Russian HEIs
