The global programme PRIMO ‘Power and Region in the Multipolar World’ for young researchers

The Faculty of Economics, St. Petersburg State University offers a position at the global PhD partnership programme PRIMO ‘Power and Region in the Multipolar World’.

 

PRIMO is a Marie Curie Initial Training Network funded by the European Commission and consisted of universities from Brazil, China, Germany, India, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Turkey and the UK, as well as non-academic institutions. PRIMO develops innovative research training in the field of International Relations, in particular with respect to the growing importance of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) in international politics and the global economy.

 

PRIMO offers three year contracts with a competitive salary plus mobility allowance. The programme combines integrated training workshops and internship opportunities across the network with career opportunities in academia or the private sector. The working language is English.

 

The young researcher at St. Petersburg State University will conduct doctoral research on ‘Emerging powers in the IMF and the WTO: group hegemony, multilateral cooperation or Westphalian reassertion?’. The research opportunities at partner Universities can be found at www.primo-itn.eu.
