Training program on cooperation with the European Union.

We invite representatives of municipal and regional authorities, regional civil-society institutions (NPOs, business associations, friendship societies, media), social, cultural and educational organizations of the Republic of Karelia to take part in the training program on cooperation with the European Union. The training program is organized by the EU Centre in the Barents region of Russia at Petrozavodsk State University within the framework of the “EU Centre in the Barents region of Russia” project, implemented with the financial support of the European Union.
The aim is to give necessary knowledge on the European Union, its institutions and programs, as well as to build skills for developing project activity and cooperation.

The program includes:

  1. 1.    Integrated course on the European Union (history of European Integration, EU institutions, decision-making process in the EU, policy areas, EU-Russia relations; 20 hours of class work).
    Date of the first lesson: October 20, 2016, 17:30, Room 407, 20 Anokhina Str
  2. 2.    Course on international cooperation principals and foundations (international cooperation principals and foundations, EU-Russia relations, European Commission financing programs, project management basics; 20 hours of class work)
    Date: Spring 2017
  3. 3.    One-day seminar on European donor organizations, where you can get information on submitting applications and address your questions to representatives of European organizations that finance project activity
    Date: Spring 2017

Terms of participation:

Participation is free

Participants receive a certificate after completing the program

In order to take part in the training program you have to fill in the application form and send it to beuc.petrsu@gmail.com. Application deadline is 17 October 2016. You can opt for participating in one, two or all parts of the program. All participants will receive more detailed information after their applications are received.
