2nd meeting of the EU Research Club

The Club was found within the framework of the project ‘Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’, implemented with the financial support of the European Union.

These meetings were organized as a roundtable devoted to the topic ‘Life of the Youth in the EU’. PetrSU students, employees of the Directorate for International Cooperation, and students from Great Britain participated in the event.

This format allowed not only to discuss views on the issues of education and social life, interests, current problems, perspectives of the youth of the EU, but also get information on directly from the EU citizens. Participants compared situations in the EU and Russia, and revealed similarities and distinctive features.

All in all, Russian and foreign students were interested to share life experiences, they also learned a lot of new facts and established friendly contacts.
