The roundtables in SyktSU within the framework of ‘The EU Days’

The format of the Presidential programme includes workshops and roundtables devoted to familiarization with the EU enterprises that present a potential basis for organization of internships for the graduates of the Programme. On 25 May 2012 one of such roundtables was held in SyktSU within the framework of ‘The EU Days’ organized in Syktyvkar.

The welcome speech was delivered by the Rector of SyktSU, Zadorozhny V. N. He introduced the project ‘Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’ to the participants, and announced its main objectives and action plan.

The round table was attended by:

• Glubokaya S.E, Head of the Department for Forecasting and Development of Human Potential of the Economics of Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Komi. She familiarized graduates with new projects of the EU member states – partners of the Programme on the part of organization of international internships for graduates;
• Belyaev D.A, Deputy Minister for Education of the Republic of Komi. He set objectives for  the graduates of the Programme and potential trainees to study the experience of the EU member states;
• Novikov M.Yu., the President of the Association of Participants of Presidential Programme in the Republic of Komi. He shared positive experience of the graduate internships held in the EU countries within the framework of the Programme.

In all 55 people (students of the Presidential programme, its graduates, lecturers of SyktSU, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Komi) participated in the event.
