Educational exhibition “STUDIA2014” (Helsinki, Finland)

On December 2-3, 2014 PetrSU took part in the educational exhibition “STUDIA2014”in Helsinki, Finlandin the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented with the financial support of the European Union. The University was represented by the director of theInstituteofInternational Projects L. Kulikivskayaand deputy director of International Education Centre E. Gorelokova.

The annual exhibition “STUDIA” is the largest educational exhibition inFinlandwhich offers visitors the topical information about educational institutes inFinlandand abroad, educational programs, opportunities for getting degrees and upgrading of professional skills. 

118 organizations and 15 000 people took part in the event: pupils, their parents and university teachers. In the course of the exhibition PetrSU representatives introduced the activity of the Barents EU Centre, discussed the perspectives of further cooperation with the director of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Helsinki S. Medvedev, staff of the RCSC and the Embassy of the RF inFinland, as well as with the representatives of European universities. The issues devoted to the cooperation in EU-related sphere, implementing the joint arrangements and research and participation in EU programs were also discussed.
