School children participated in the ‘EU Centre in the Barents region of Russia’ project
Ekaterina Pavlenko and Marina Nikitina, students of the 10th grade ‘A’ of the school № 43 with the in-depth study of foreign languages and subjects of artistic and aesthetic cycle won the ‘Become a Young EU Researcher’ competition that took place among the school children of Petrozavodsk within the framework of the ‘Establishing EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’ project financed by the European Union.
On March 26, 2012 they presented their report on the topic of «The legal basis of the EU-Russia relations» at the Scientific conference of students and young researches of PetrSU. Abstracts of their report will be published in the ‘Materials of Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists of PetrSU’ compilation. Ekaterina and Marina were awarded honorary diplomas, and received great pleasure from participation in the competition and conference. They assured us they will continue participating in such events as they find them very interesting and beneficial, and important for their future studies.
