Promising Cooperation

The meeting between the Dean of the Faculty of History Sergey Verigin and the University of Turku senior research assistant, Ph.D. Tapani Paavonen was conducted in Petrozavodsk State University. The meeting was arranged within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”.   

 I. Solomeshch, Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor of the Department of Northern Europe Countries, and N. Silina, specialist of the International and Educational Research Centre for Historical and Cultural Studies of theNorthern Europe, also took part in the meeting.

 Colleagues discussed the questions of European studies in Europe andRussia, pedagogical practices, prospects for further cooperation and development of international cooperation between PetrSU andUniversityofTurku.

 Tapani Paavonen expressed the hope for further cooperation and wished success in international, scientific and educational activity.
