Meeting with Katalin Kroo at the Faculty of Philology

Meeting with Katalin Kroo, head of the Department of Russian Linguistics and Literature of University of Lorand Eötvös with the dean and lecturers of the Faculty of Philology took part at the Faculty.

Kroo visited PetrSU within the framework of the project ‘Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’, implemented with the financial support of the EU. Issues of contemporary humanitarian education and integration of the system of humanitarian education ofRussiawith the EU Model were discussed.

Kroo said that she liked Petrozavodsk State University, its library (especially the stock of rare books) and the city itself. We hope that this meeting will become a part of a long and fruitful cooperation between University of Lorand Eötvös and PetrSU. We express our gratitude to the Head of the Scientific Library of PetrSU for the willingness to help and an interesting excursion.
