"Green care" seminar at PetrSU (EU Days 2018)

A two-day seminar was held in Petrozavodsk State University - a meeting dedicated to the issues of "green care".
The participants were students and teachers of the three institutes of PetrSU (Institute of Biology, Ecology and Agrotechnologies, Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences, and Medical Institute).

Representatives of the University of Applied Sciences Savonia (Savonia University of Applied Sciences (Savonia UAS), Iisalmi, Finland) - senior teachers, masters of natural sciences Katriina Pulkkänen and Susanne Hämälinen shared their experience and knowledge in this field.

They spoke about the possibilities of “green care” to ensure the well-being and development of rural areas, the Finnish health care system, hippotherapy using social pedagogy methods, etc.

The seminar was held within the "EU Days" in the framework of the project “EU Center in the Barents Region of Russia”, carried out with the financial support of the Erasmus + program of the European Union.
