The Evening of the Czech Republic in PetrSU
On May 30, 2013 at 6 p.m. the meeting devoted to the Czech Republic will be arranged in the reading hall of the Scientific Library of Petrozavodsk State University.

The scholarships that the DAAD offers together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation provide Russian doctoral candidates and young university teachers from the fields of Natural Sciences and Engineering with an opportunity to carry out internship at a German university or non-university research institution with the aim of conducting research within the topic of their dissertation and to establish long-term contacts with German university teachers and researchers.

German Historical Institute in Moscow (GIIM) announces a one-year scholarship for graduate students and doctoral students engaged in a German history and the history of Russian-German relations XVI-XX centuries. The scholarship includes work on the stated theme for the 12 months, including at least two months in Moscow or St. Petersburg’s libraries and archives.

The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research, SCAR Offers Research Scholarships 2013-2014. 3 to 4 awards for 2013-14 up to US,000 per award will be granted.

The Netherlands Institute in Saint-Petersburg and Society of Friends of the Netherlands Institute Established Scholarship for the Best Graduation Work Devoted to the Netherlands. Students of Russian universities who have defended their diploma works in the current year can take part in the competition. The topic of the graduation work may refer to various fields of study: culture, linguistics, history, geography, economics, politics, law, international relations, sociology, etc.

Translation by the participants of the competition from the short list (the first 10 places) will be included to the collector of poems which will be issued in 2014. The authors of these translations will be invited to Wroclaw(Poland) for participation in the translation master classes.

Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships 2014
Applications are open for Heinrich Boll Foundation scholarships for German and International students. The foundation grants scholarships to approximately 1,000 for pursuing undergraduate, graduate & doctoral programme in all subjects for citizens ofGermanyand foreigners. There are two types of scholarships i.e. student scholarship and doctoral scholarship which is offered for those students who gained their university entrance qualification in Germany to study in Germany or EU country and for those students who gained their university entrance qualification outside of Germany to pursue studies in Germany.
