15 lectures of the Faculty of History, Philology, Economics, Law and Faculty of Political and Social Sciences completed the course “Modern Pedagogical Technologies and Psychology in the Institutions of Higher Education”.

On the 23rd and 24th of November, 2012 in the Institution of Further Vocational Education of Syktyvkar State University 6 lecturers of SyktSU completed the course “Modern Pedagogical Technologies and Psychology in the Institutions of Higher Education” within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented under the financial support of the European Union.

Within the framework of the international project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, which is implemented under the financial support of the European Union, the grant competition was arranged among post-graduate students who devote their research works to the problems of the European Union.

On 27th of November 4 lecturers from International Institute of Business Education, who completed the English language course within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented under the financial support of the European Union, were awarded certificates.

8 lecturers of Humanities and Natural Sciences Faculties and also of theInstituteofEconomics, Management and International Relations of Murmansk State Technical University successfully completed the course of the English language within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented with the financial support of the EU.

On the 19th and the 20th of November, 2012 within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented with the financial support of the EU, International Institute of Business Education in consort with PetrSU and MSTU arranged lifelong learning courses “Modern Pedagogical Technologies and Psychology in the Institutions of Higher Education” for lecturers of IIBE and MSTU.

In Syktyvkar State University within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented under the financial support of the European Union, the quiz “The European Union: History and Modernity” was arranged for the pupils of Syktyvkar institutions of secondary education.

From the 5th to the 9th of November, 2012 within the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented under the financial support of the European Union, lecturers of PetrSU and partner universities (MSTU, IIBE, NArFU and SyktSU) participated in the training program at the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary).

Post-graduate student of the Economics and Management Department (Faculty of Economics) Dmitry Tereschenko won the competition which was arranged among PetrSU post-graduate students with the aim of receiving grant to conduct research devoted to the EU.

From 22 to 24 of October the director of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia” Liudmila Kulikovskaya and the coordinator of the project Anastasia Kuznetsova took part in the meeting of the EU centres in Brussels (Belgium).
