EU Days in Murmansk, Day two
From May 28th to May 30th the ‘EU Days’ were conducted in Murmansk State Technical University within the framework of the project ‘Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’.
The format of the Presidential programme includes workshops and roundtables devoted to familiarization with the EU enterprises that present a potential basis for organization of internships for the graduates of the Programme. On 25 May 2012 one of such roundtables was held in SyktSU within the framework of ‘The EU Days’ organized in Syktyvkar.

On May 17, 2012 as a result of the course of lectures presented by Matteo Fumagalli (Italy), associate professor from Central European University (Budapest, Hungary), organized within the framework of the ‘Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’ project, implemented with the financial support of the EU.

Lectures on Energy Security
From the 15th to the 17th of May within the framework of the ‘Establishing of the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’ project, implemented with the support of the EU, Matteo Fumagalli, associate professor from Central European University (Budapest, Hungary) presented a course of lectures on ‘Energy Security. EU-Russia Relations’.
International seminar ‘Ecological Security of Water Areas in the Northern Europe’ took place in PetrSU. The seminar was conducted within the framework of the ‘Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’ project, implemented with the financial support of the EU.
Law of the European Economic Community
Lectures on ‘Law of the European Economic Community’ were held in English at the Faculty of Law of PetrSU by Par Hallstrom, professor of University of Umea (Sweden), who arrived to PetrSU within the framework of the “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia” project implemented with the financial support of the EU.
Meeting with Katalin Kroo, head of the Department of Russian Linguistics and Literature of University of Lorand Eötvös with the dean and lecturers of the Faculty of Philology took part at the Faculty.
International Summer School ‘Factor of Water Resources in the North of Europe’ that took place in Petrozavodsk State University completed its work on the 14th of May, 2012.
International Business Negotiations
Interactive classes on the course of ‘International Business Negotiations’ were held at the Faculty of Economics of PetrSU by Jerard Cullen, lecturer at Dresden University of Technology, who visited PetrSU from the 14th to th 16th of May within the framework of the international project ‘Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia’, implemented with the financial support of the EU.
