In cooperation with Saint Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON) BSRUN has conducted its annual Forum on June, 7 2018.


A two-day seminar was held in Petrozavodsk State University - a meeting dedicated to the issues of "green care". The participants were students and teachers of the three institutes of PetrSU (Institute of Biology, Ecology and Agrotechnologies, Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences, and Medical Institute).

The Boiling Point – Petrozavodsk hosts the 15th International Summer School in Karelia (ISSK) “Discourses and dimensions of the Barents Region, the EU and the entire North - theories & methods of Arctic studies”. The school convened over 30 Bachelor and Master Degree students, postgraduates and teachers from PetrSU, representatives of universities of Finland, Spain, Estonia, Canada and other countries, as well as specialists of public and academic organizations, engaged in research in this area.


The young scientists of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences presented their research in this area for the third time.


The deputy director of the Linguistic Center of PetrSU, Smirnova Yulia Alekseevna, taught the course “Energy Policy of the European Union” for students of the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th years of undergraduate and graduate programs.


From 18 to 26 April 2018 in St. Petersburg, with the assistance of the German Academic Exchange Service, were held days of Germany in Russia.


On March 24, a scientific and methodological seminar on Russia - Hungary cooperation was held at the RCSC in Budapest with the participation of the leading scientists of RKI and representatives if 12 Hungarian universities.

From January 11 to January 14 Head of the Department of Sociology and Social Work, PetrSU, Yulia Alexandrovna Petrovskaya visited Saimaa University of Applied Sciences (Lappeenranta, Finland). Representatives of two universities discussed the possibility of international cooperation in the sphere of green care, cosial work and international students exchange.
