From 18 till 22 May 2015 International summer school in Karelia “Resources and security in the Barents Sea area” was conducted at Petrozavodsk State University. It was organized by BEUC together with the Institute of history, political and social sciences.


On April, 24 2015 Anastasia Kuznetsova, BEUC coordinator, made a presentation at the annual meeting of the members of the Barents Regional Youth Council. She told about the Centre activity directions, about past and planned events and shared publications. The participants asked questions that were interesting for them and discussed the possibilities of cooperation between BEUC and BRYC.


On April, 21 2015 in the Barents EU Centre the EU research club meeting was organized.


The last week of November was highlighted by essays competition for senior pupils at the NArFU arranged in the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”.


On December 2-3, 2014 PetrSU took part in the educational exhibition “STUDIA2014”inHelsinki,Finlandin the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented with the financial support of the European Union. The University was represented by the director of theInstituteofInternational Projects L. Kulikivskayaand deputy director of International Education Centre E. Gorelokova.


On December 5, 2014 the roundtable discussion “The Projects of the RF and EU as a Tool of Cross-border Cooperation in the North of Europe” was conducted in the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented under the financial support of the European Union.


On November 14-16, 2014 the III European Youth Forum devoted to migrations in the EU was conducted in Kazan.


On October 25-31, 2014 Murmansk StateTechnical University arranged already the third Days of Europe in the framework of the international project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented under the financial support of the European Union. The Days of Europe were opened by the youth round-table discussions “Russiaand the European Union: New Cooperation Horizons” held on October25 inthe conference hall of congress-hotel “Meridian”. The organizer of the round table discussions is Law Faculty of MSTU Institute of Economics, Management and Law


From October 28 to November 14, 2014 the exhibition “The EU Today” was conducted in PetrSU in the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”. Information materials about the history of Europe, the European Union, European countries, European integration, history of establishment of the European Union, opportunities of getting education in Europe, as well as about the EU Centre activity were presented at the exhibition.


In early November 2014 in the framework of the project “Establishing the EU Centre in the Barents Region of Russia”, implemented with the financial support of the European Union, the participants of the project - A. Kuznetsova, the head of the EU Information Centre of PetrSU, N. Silina, deputy director of the Centre of Atlantic and Asian Cooperation of PetrSU and J. Smirniva, deputy director of the Institute of International Programs of PetrSU – took part in further training program in the European Union centres in Prague, the Czech Republic.
